Interested in Scouting?

Why join scouting?
Scouting reinforces the skills and values we want our sons to learn while they're having fun. Click the Joining tab above for more information.
How do I Join?
Boy Scouting is open to any boy between the ages of 11 and 18. For more information please feel free to drop us an email or visit one of our weekly meetings.
Scouting is for parents, too!
Active, committed Leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Troop. You don't need to have any special abilities to make a huge difference in a young man's life. Volunteer to help at one of our many events; you'll be glad you did!

Troop Parents Committee Training

Another great online course is the Troop Committee Challenge which is recommended for those families whose sons joined the troop in the past two years. This, as well as other great courses that might interest you, can be found at http://olc.scouting.org. They are quick and free and will help the Troop and you!
Every Scout deserves a trained leader. Please do your part to oblige him.

Congratulations!

Adult Leadership Positions

The list of Troop Committees was recently posted on our YahooGroups site. The parents in our Troop, by filling vital roles, keep our Troop strong. Your help is needed! Please look over the list of committees, consider where you can best help and then be a volunteer – contact the chair of the committee on which you would like to work. We are transitioning some adult positions this year: Committee Chair, Quartermaster, Camping Committee Chair, Training Coordinator. We currently have vacancies and are in need of a Scouting for Food Coordinator, a Roundtable Representative and a Court of Honor Committee Chair. If  our skills and talents match these positions and you can  volunteer, please speak with Linda Bravacos, Scott Wilson or the person presently in the position.
